Wireless internet problems?

I cant seem to get wireless internet in my room for my laptop but as soon as i step outside my room its perfect. I dont think i have any crazy gadgets that interfere with the connection? need it back urgently for study. im not too good with networking so if anyone can help me that would be wicked. Cheers.
