Motorola phone photos texting problems any one please help?

I have a motarola touch phone and evertime someone sends me pic text from mexico it comes out half gray and show some of the photo what can that be?? Some times it comes out all the way and looks good ,is it any thing i can do to fix it and is there any way of doing it /?
