If I upgrade my YM at my home PC, will it also upgrade my YM at my office?

I am actually using YM (Yahoo! Messenger) both at home and at work. I have read that YM version 11 is way better since you can check on the archives which ever PC/laptop/gadget you're using. I currently have the version 10 with me. I just want to know if I upgrade it to a version 11 here at home, will it also affect my YM at work? Or do I have to upgrade my YM at home and then do the same step for my YM at work? A little help you guys, not much of a techie and answers will definitely be appreciated. Thanks =)
