I really want my tongue pierced whats it like after?

i dont know what its like the day after or even a week after i have a high pain tolerance but i also work with kids. im 16, is this a good idea to get it done. will it break my teeth? there so much i need to know before i get this done. if i could get everything i need to know i would be so thank ful.
